Local Schools

There are two schools in Lobley Hill. Emmanuel College is a City Technology College and offers schooling for 11-18 years old from a wide area West Gateshead and the West End of Newcastle. Lobley Hill primary school offer schooling for 4-11 years old and includes nursury school.

There is also Hillside Pre-school nursury run in the All Saints Church building. There are also local courses run at the Lobley Hill Youth and Community Centre.

The school is a specialist teach training school and more information can be found the Gateshead Grid for Learning website. In fac t the school was referred to in a Guardian newspaper report as shining example of good training practice.
